Today is 19 years!
Wow!
Time sure does fly!
Above is my card for my husband.
I was in a hurry.
This card took no time at all.
The hearts are made from scraps.
We have been painting the walls and getting new carpet.
This is the first time I have made a card or crafted in over a month.
:-(
My house is still not back together.
In the middle of all that my computer died.
Thankfully it is up and running again.
Yes this is us 19 years ago!

Happy 4th of July!

My friends birthday is tomorrow.
July the 4th
Here is the card I made for her.
You can't see in the photo but the Butterflies have 3 layers
the bottom is bazzill white embossed with a butterfly the 2nd layer is
my favorite... vellum and the top is designer paper. I quilled the body and then added
Sparkly Glitter.

The inside is red card stock and the pop up stars are
Sparkly White and Dark Blue paper made with Spellbinder Stars.
If you have a JoAnn's near you run don't walk they are on Sale.
Unfortunately I did not get mine on sale.
I really love making these pop up cards.

We are on a burn ban and I am praying no one starts a fire
with Fire Works.

I went to take photos of the card and walk
back into the office and looked at my Darling Daughter's Computer (who is
12 years old) screen saver and started laughing. Your not a carrot.
Every things is either Justin Bieber or One Directions.

I was not going to use
him but my daughter insisted.

Birthday Card for My Mother

Today is my Mother's Birthday
It is warm and humid here in
Indiana. A great day for a celebration.
The BQ Ribs are cooking!

This card was easy to make.
I love the colors.
And if you are wondering I used my Martha Stewart Scoring board
to make the lines in the Natural Color Paper.
My favorite is the Butterfly Boarder Punch
by Martha Stewart the paper is called Slipper by Bazzill.
I am so in love with the Bazzill paper with the raised embossed dots
at Archivers. I have some in most colors I just wish is came in orange. The
daisies are made with the same type of paper.
And I so love the pink and white bakers twine from Doodlebug.

And the one below is for my Mother-In-Law.

Both are made with 3 butterflies layered 3 times with my favorite
Vellum Paper in the middle. For the body I did some quilling.
I have been adding quilling to everything here lately.
